Tournus is such an incredible place. Historic, picturesque and a gorgeous place beside the river. The hotel is well located, well appointed and ideal if you have a car. We spent just one night, did not have breakfast but found the hotel smart and very convenient for the motorway.

Beautiful hotel in stunning location. Decor was quite dated but it was immaculate and well looked after. Staff were excellent and even provided a separate bed for our dog, which she absolutely loved sleeping on after a long day if bicycle touring. Good overnight lock-up for our bicycles. Amazing buffet breakfast with lots of unusual local items available to try.

2nd time we have stayed here – which says it all really. When we reported the broken shower, we were moved into another room with no question. Also very prompt to make the aircon. So 12 out of ten for customer service! Our room was comfortable and well appointed with a fabulous view of the wonderful Romanesque abbey. Breakfast was pretty good but not outstanding, but served to us on a delightful terrace. Dinner at a neighbouring restaurant (attached to hotel?) was REALLY good. Overall a very good stay in a beautiful building with secure parking.

Comfortable, clean and friendly staff. Great breakfast. A lovely place to stay with your dog, great walks by the river. Good place to stop over through France. Great to have private parking, locked at night.

Staff were excellent! everyone we talked to were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good! We booked to have massages on the premises, everything was easy to organise and very relaxing. Our room was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Such a lovely hotel.fabulous location . Comfortable room with kettle coffee machine robes etc ideal position for walking round the town. Two outside areas to relax in. Secure parking. Really nice breakfast of excellent quality. Dog friendly. Highly recommend this hotel

Easy to find, friendly and efficient staff, very comfortable room - with a bathroom mirror lit and supplied with a magnifying glass so I could put on my makeup with ease, an absolute rarity in hotel bathrooms, excellent breakfast, lovely restaurant on a par with any good French restaurant.

Quiet rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Despite it being so close to the road, we did not hear the traffic at all even though our room faced the front.

This is an exceptional hotel and one we'll visit again when travelling through France. The reception was friendly and informative. Their restaurant was incredible. Breakfast was one of the very best. The coffee and hot chocolate were memorable. Tournus is beautifully small and the hotel is a mere one minute from the autoroute. Secure parking!

Traditional hotel in an atmospheric old building right in the heart of Tournus behind the abbey. We had a spacious room which although old fashioned in style was with all mid cons and was warm and comfortable.
